April Price tried to relax with some television after taking her dog for a walk, but was unexpectedly confronted by a haunting piece of her past.

In 2014, a news broadcast revealed that “7th Heaven” actor Stephen Collins had allegedly confessed to committing sexual misconduct with underage girls, captured in audio leaked to TMZ. The recording, originating from a 2012 therapy session, was handed to authorities by Collins’ now-estranged wife.

“I stood there, stunned, watching it unfold, recognizing my story in his censored confession,” Price shared with Fox News Digital. “I felt an emotional blow, knowing he referred to me, recounting details from my life. The most devastating part was realizing I wasn’t alone,” she said.

The story of Stephen Collins’ rise and fall is a key focus in the Investigation Discovery (ID) series “Hollywood Demons.” In the premiere episode, Price shares her experience, alleging Collins exposed himself to her three times when she was 13.

In attempts to glean further insights, Fox News Digital reached out to Collins, now 77, his former “7th Heaven” colleagues, and his former wife, Faye Grant, for their comments. Some “7th Heaven” cast members used the episode to express their initial reactions upon hearing the allegations.

Price, who is now a mother, explained to Fox News Digital her reasons for coming forward. “Being a parent instills a hope that, if my children faced similar distressing situations, they would come forward to me,” she said.

As the lone accuser in “Hollywood Demons” willing to speak out, Price aims to empower others. “I wish my voice gives courage to anyone afraid to address parts of their lives that are deeply unsettling or uncomfortable,” she continued.
