Austin City Limits Music Festival just rolled out the lineup for 2025, sparking excitement among music enthusiasts. Tickets are set to go on sale this Tuesday at noon via aclfestival.com.
Among the highlights of the 2025 lineup is Sabrina Carpenter, making her enthusiastic ACL Fest debut after her “Short n’ Sweet” tour stop in Austin last October. Hozier returns to the festival scene this year after captivating audiences during Weekend One in 2023. The versatile hitmaker Doja Cat is also part of the lineup, having previously dazzled fans in 2021. Luke Combs leads the charge as the country music headliner, while DJ John Summit takes top billing in the electronic music domain. The alt-rock resurgence is spearheaded by The Strokes, marking their return 15 years after headlining in 2010, and Cage the Elephant, back since their 2016 performance on Weekend Two. Perhaps the most eagerly anticipated addition is Doechii, a rising star in the rap scene who will also headline Lollapalooza this year.
ACL Fest will be held over two weekends: October 3-5 and October 10-12.
The festival takes place at the expansive Zilker Park located at 2100 Barton Springs Road.
Three-day passes for both weekends become available at noon CST on the ACL website. General admission tickets start at $360 for either weekend, while GA+ tickets, offering perks like a shaded lounge and air-conditioned restrooms, begin at $750. Single-day tickets are planned for release at a later date.
For those seeking an elevated festival experience, VIP passes ($1,670) grant access to a shaded lounge and a premium viewing area. Platinum passes ($5,670) include additional conveniences such as all-day catering and front-stage views. Meanwhile, the extravagant three-day Y’all Access passes start at $27,000, though there’s already a waitlist for weekend one.
The return of the three-day Bungalows offers a luxurious option, complete with 10 tickets and assorted amenities for $30,000.
Festival gates at Zilker Park open at noon on Fridays and at 11 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, with the final performances concluding by 10 p.m. each day. While the lineup for weekend two mirrors weekend one with some minor changes, plan for a crowd—the festival can host up to 75,000 attendees daily.
The unpredictable Austin weather in October necessitates a flexible wardrobe. Prepare for the possibility of sun, potentially combined with rain or cooler temperatures. Regardless, ACL offers the perfect opportunity to roll out your blanket amidst the lawn, enjoy a stellar lineup of artists, and explore inventive pop-up installations with friends.
