Ben Folds is bringing his musical talents to the Capitol Theatre in Rome, N.Y., on June 18. Kicking off the evening, Lindsey Kraft will set the stage at 7 p.m. as the special opening act.
Tickets for this much-anticipated event will be available from Friday, March 14, starting at 10 a.m. on etix.com. Prices begin at $50, with the bonus that one dollar from every ticket sold will support Ben Folds’ charity, Keys For Kids.
This performance is one of only two New York state appearances in Folds’ “Ben Folds & A Piano Tour.” Fans can also catch him at the Tarrytown Music Hall on June 20.
Folds, now 58, is celebrated as a piano-rock virtuoso, renowned for leading Ben Folds Five and his solo endeavors. His acclaimed hits include “Brick,” “Army,” “The Luckiest,” “Philosophy,” “Rockin’ the Suburbs,” and “Song for the Dumped.” He has worked alongside notable artists like “Weird Al” Yankovic, Regina Spektor, and Amanda Palmer, and charmed audiences as a judge on NBC’s “The Sing-Off” from 2009 to 2013.
