Chivas managed to avoid another loss by drawing 1-1 with Juárez, keeping their hopes alive for the Play-In despite relying on other outcomes. Gerardo Espinoza secured another point in the league by fielding Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernández and Alan Pulido together for the first time. Miguel Gómez earned a crucial point for Chivas with his debut goal in Liga MX.

The former player phenomenon struck again as Ángel Zaldívar, who rose through Chivas’ youth ranks, was the one to kick-off the scoring early in the match. Chivas remains unbeaten at the border, boasting four wins and two draws. They nearly lost their unbeaten streak, but Miguel Gómez’s late goal salvaged the match.
