All Whites captain Chris Wood has further enhanced his already impressive season with Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League by netting another goal.

The talented New Zealand forward scored during Forest’s 2-1 defeat against Fulham. Despite the loss, the team remains firmly in third place, keeping their hopes alive for a spot in next season’s European tournaments.

Wood’s latest goal solidified his position in third place on the EPL Golden Boot leaderboard, trailing only Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.

With a total of 87 Premier League goals, Wood is now tied at 46th on the all-time top scorers list, matching the achievements of Arsenal icon Dennis Bergkamp and England’s Marcus Rashford.
