Country music sensation Lainey Wilson has entered the world of engagements!
The singer-songwriter shared the joyous news of her engagement to longtime partner Devlin “Duck” Hodges with a heartfelt Instagram post on February 12.
“4x4xU forever,” Wilson captioned her announcement, nodding to a track from her upcoming 2024 album, “Whirlwind.”
The 32-year-old songstress posted romantic snapshots of herself with her soon-to-be husband, set against the backdrop of a charming, old brick building.
She also included a playful video showcasing her laughter as she raised her arm, pretending her brand-new, impressive engagement ring was too heavy to handle.
Wilson had previously joked in September about her desire to be “weighed down” by a future engagement ring.
The comment section of her Instagram post lit up with congratulations from fellow country stars, with Miranda Lambert expressing her delight with a simple, extended “Yessssssssssssssssss.”
Wilson and Hodges, who is 28 years old, have been in a relationship since 2021 and first appeared together in public at the 2023 American Country Music Awards.
