Delta Offers Assistance Post-Aircraft Accident

All 21 people who sustained injuries in the Delta flight accident from Minneapolis to Toronto have now been discharged from medical facilities. On Thursday, Delta Air Lines confirmed that all passengers who were hospitalized following the incident are now home. In a gesture of support, Delta is offering $30,000 to each person who was aboard the flight. “The Delta and Endeavor teams are relieved to know that everyone injured on Monday has left the hospital. We are deeply grateful to all the medical staff who cared for them in recent days,” expressed Delta CEO Ed Bastian. The aircraft involved in the accident was cleared from the runway on Wednesday.
