As we wrap up the second round, our attention shifts to the third round in Green Bay. Will this be the moment when Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders finally hears his name announced?

The 2025 NFL Draft began with a bang on Thursday night. Miami quarterback Cam Ward made headlines by being selected first overall by the Titans. Adding to the excitement, the Browns and Jaguars orchestrated an impressive move early in the first round. Jacksonville gave up a future first-round pick to advance and secure Colorado’s dual-threat sensation, Travis Hunter. In total, the day saw four trades, including the Giants re-entering the first round to choose Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart.

In the second round, the Saints broke the norm as the only team to choose a quarterback, selecting Louisville’s Tyler Shough at No. 40 overall. Marshall’s edge rusher, Mike Green, experienced a longer-than-expected wait but was finally picked late in the second round. Meanwhile, three standout running backs were chosen, with the Browns picking Ohio State’s Quinshon Judkins, the Patriots selecting TreVeyon Henderson, also from Ohio State, and the Broncos going with UCF’s RJ Harvey.
