The intense hockey rivalry between the United States and Canada quickly reached a boiling point on Saturday. As the two national teams clashed for the first time since the 2022 Olympics, the match descended into chaos with three fights erupting within just nine seconds of the game beginning.
A mere two seconds into the action, Team USA’s Matthew Tkachuk and Team Canada’s Brandon Hagel discarded their gloves and began to throw punches immediately after the opening face-off.
Not wanting his brother to have all the fun, Brady Tkachuk jumped into the fray just one second later, taking on Canada’s Sam Bennett as the play briefly restarted.
Six seconds following that, tensions flared around the Canadian goal, resulting in another altercation, this time between American JT Miller and Canada’s Colton Parayko.
