Franklin County Triumphs in a Nail-Biting Victory

Runs were scarce in Tuesday’s game, but Franklin County’s baseball team capitalized on their chances, securing a 3-2 triumph over Mercer County in the Kentucky 2A Section 5 championship held at FCHS.

“We have the chance to win a state championship,” expressed FCHS coach J.T. Riddle. “Our team is set to compete for the state title, and I couldn’t be more thrilled for them.”
