The Golden State Warriors will face a challenging period without their star player, Stephen Curry. Curry has been sidelined for Saturday’s matchup against the Atlanta Hawks after sustaining an injury. During Thursday night’s game, Curry left the court with just over three minutes left in the third quarter. Following an MRI, it was disclosed that he suffered a pelvic contusion, though fortunately, there is no structural damage, as stated by the Warriors on Friday. Curry is slated for a re-evaluation on Monday.

The injury occurred when Curry stumbled to the floor after attempting a pass beneath the basket, with 3:24 left in the third quarter against the Toronto Raptors, and inadvertently colliding with a defender. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr mentioned post-game that although Curry was eager to return, the decision was made to err on the side of caution to avoid aggravating the injury. Consequently, Curry is not accompanying the team on their trip to Atlanta.

As Curry recuperates, he is anticipated to miss the entire six-game road stint for the Warriors. During this period, he will continue to receive necessary treatments while staying away from the team.
