Investigation Underway Following Fatal Shooting at Memphis Hotel

The Memphis Police Department is currently probing a shooting incident that tragically resulted in the death of one individual and left another critically injured.

Authorities responded to the scene around 2:40 in the afternoon at the Westin Hotel, situated near Second Street, directly across from the FedEx Forum.

Upon arrival, officers found two victims who had been shot.

As reported by the Memphis Police Department, one of the victims was declared deceased, while the other was rushed to a local hospital, remaining in critical condition.

Officials noted that the suspects fled in a white vehicle shortly after the incident.
