Joining JCPenney in this initiative, over a dozen prominent household names such as Target, Costco, and Kohl’s will also close their doors, allowing employees to spend valuable time with their families. Customers were taken aback by JCPenney’s decision to cease operations in states like California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Maryland, North Carolina, New Hampshire, and West Virginia.
