Madrid Falters as Valencia Claims Victory: Mbappé's Efforts Fall Short

Madrid’s full-throttle effort to clinch victory ended in disappointment, as yet another lackluster performance resulted in a defeat. Even the skill and determination of Kylian were insufficient to secure a win.

Madrid succumbs to Valencia, effectively relinquishing their hopes for the league title. Playing with fire eventually results in getting burned, as very few managed to leave a mark. Among the starting eleven, Mbappé came closest to performing at his expected level, while players subbed in to spark a comeback failed to provide the necessary boost and were left with little time to make an impact. Fran González’s debut was bittersweet; he conceded two goals from what were practically the only shots Valencia took on target—both incredibly challenging to save. Although the team gave their all in the second half, they acted more with emotion than strategy. Vini did score Madrid’s goal, but part of the Bernabéu crowd is already wary, as he only showed glimpses of his potential in the latter half before Carletto substituted him.
