On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina Closes in Towson

TOWSON, Md. — The popular On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina has officially closed its doors in Towson, located adjacent to the Cinemark movie theater along Joppa Road.

Now, Nando’s Peri-Peri remains the sole dining establishment in the Towson Square shopping center.

The Towson location has been removed from On the Border’s website, and their Facebook page has posted an update confirming the permanent closure.

According to USA Today, the restaurant chain recently filed for bankruptcy.

However, On the Border continues to operate a location in Elkridge, situated in Howard County.
