Get ready for a brief break from Fortnite this Tuesday morning, as the game’s servers will be temporarily offline for scheduled maintenance. This downtime will introduce patch 34.10 for Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2: Lawless. While the servers are expected to return later in the day, it’s not uncommon for maintenance to extend beyond the anticipated timeframe. Here’s the scoop on what to expect during this Fortnite downtime, including the exciting new MLB-themed Shohei Ohtani Icon Series content.

Great news for Fortnite enthusiasts: maintenance has wrapped up successfully ahead of schedule. Although Epic Games initially projected the update to conclude by 9:30 a.m. UTC (5:30 a.m. ET), the work was completed promptly by 6:35 a.m. ET. As Chapter 6 Season 2: Lawless embraces patch 34.10, expect the servers to be inactive from 8 a.m. UTC (4 a.m. ET) on March 11, with plans to resume service by 9:30 a.m. UTC (5:30 a.m. ET).

The much-loved Getaway limited-time mode is making a triumphant return from Chapter 1 and will be playable until April 1. Team up as a duo or in a squad of four to capture one of the four Crystal Llamas scattered across the map. To win, be among the first three teams to escape with a jewel into one of the island’s three Getaway Vans. Alternatively, victory can also be claimed by outlasting and eliminating all rival teams.

Mark your calendars, as Shohei Ohtani skins are hitting the shop, with the Shohei Ohtani Cup scheduled for March 15. Additionally, Week 4’s Battle Royale quests will launch on March 18, continuing until the end of the season.
