Dow Jones Industrial Average futures climbed 223 points, corresponding to a 0.5% increase. S&P 500 futures rose by 0.8%, and Nasdaq 100 futures saw a gain of approximately 0.9%. The consumer price index (CPI) for February was scheduled for release at 8:30 a.m. ET. According to a Dow Jones survey, economists expected the CPI to have increased by 0.3% in the previous month, forecasting a 2.9% rise in annual headline inflation.
