Heavy storms bringing potential tornadoes and fierce winds are forecasted to impact Monday night into the early hours of Tuesday. The storm threat level has been raised to “enhanced” for central Oklahoma, including the Oklahoma City metro area, as a storm front could spawn tornadoes and powerful winds from late Monday through Tuesday morning.

11:50 p.m. Monday Update: An emergency manager from Elk City has reported the destruction of a barn and a fifth-wheel trailer one mile west of Highway 34 on Highway 73.

11:46 p.m. Monday Update: A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for the counties of Blaine, Caddo, Canadian, Comanche, Custer, Jackson, Kingfisher, Kiowa, and Washita until 12:30 a.m.
