Tens of thousands eagerly anticipated the Legia Warsaw vs. Chelsea match in the UEFA Conference League quarterfinals, only to encounter a major issue. Polsat faced a significant technical failure, leaving even Polsat Box Go subscribers unable to watch the live broadcast. The internet quickly flooded with critical comments, prompting an immediate response from the broadcaster.
The clash between Legia Warsaw and Chelsea kicked off at 6:45 PM on Thursday. As the exclusive broadcaster, Polsat held the rights to this highly anticipated matchup, but things didn’t go as planned, resulting in a painful blunder.
It was an inconceivable setback for Polsat, especially just moments before the Legia vs. Chelsea match.
The event was slated for both TV and online streaming access to Polsat Box Go subscribers. However, right before kickoff, numerous users expressed via social media that the broadcast wasn’t working.
“Is anyone else experiencing issues with the Polsat Box Go app?” questioned well-known figure Hirek Wrona shortly after the initial whistle. From goal.pl, journalist Przemysław Langier added, “Has Polsat Box Go just crashed on this historic day in Polish football, or is it just not working for me?”
Polsat’s quick response followed suit. “Hey! We are working intensely to restore full access as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding,” was one of the replies seen on platform X.
