Tiger Woods has now confirmed that he is in a romantic relationship with Vanessa Trump, the former daughter-in-law of Donald Trump.

Woods shared the news on Sunday, declaring, “Love is in the air, and life is better with you by my side! We eagerly anticipate our journey through life together,” he posted to his 6.4 million followers on X, asking for privacy for those close to them.

Vanessa, who was married to Donald Trump Jr. from 2005 until 2018, is a mother of five. Notably, her 17-year-old daughter, Kai, is gearing up to play golf at the University of Miami come 2026. Interestingly enough, Kai attends the same school as Woods’ children, Sam and Charlie, and recently, Kai and Charlie went head-to-head in an invitational tournament.

Rumors about Woods and Vanessa Trump have been circulating in gossip circles for weeks. This disclosure comes after Woods announced that a ruptured Achilles tendon would sideline him from the Masters.

Despite his usual discretion about his personal affairs, it remains unknown why Woods decided to share photos that confirm this relationship. These actions hark back to 2013, when he and Lindsey Vonn took to social media to announce their relationship.

Back then, Woods explained that he and Vonn were aiming to reduce the “stalkarazzi” and those sleazy websites constantly tracking their every move, which he worried could pose risks to his children. He also believed that releasing their photos would undermine the paparazzi’s efforts.

Sam and Charlie are his children from his marriage to Elin Nordegren. The marriage ended in 2010 after revelations of Woods’ multiple affairs.

Aside from Vanessa, his only other public stint was with Erica Herman, which lasted about seven years until October 2022. Their split was publicized and contentious, leading to lawsuits against Woods and the trust that owns his Florida estate, where Herman had been residing.

Woods has previously played golf with Donald Trump multiple times and was honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Trump in 2019. Earlier in February, Woods attended a meeting at the White House with Trump to discuss the evolving landscape of golf amidst the rise of the Saudi-backed LIV tour.
