Sovereignty, who finished second in the Florida Derby, is currently rated at 9-1. Meanwhile, Sandman is shaping up to be a formidable challenger to Journalism, boasting odds of 9-2.

The Kentucky Derby is scheduled to begin at 7:02 p.m. ET on Saturday, May 3. NBC will offer live coverage starting at 2:30 p.m. ET.
