In a nail-biting sequence during Game 4 against the Detroit Pistons, Knicks guard Jalen Brunson had to leave the court due to an injury with just around three minutes left in the third quarter.

The incident occurred when Brunson collided with Dennis Schroder after Schroder managed to strip the ball away. Brunson hit the floor awkwardly, clutching at his lower right leg in discomfort. He attempted to crawl towards the scoring table and tried to stand, but could not bear weight on his injured leg.

Despite the scare, Brunson returned to the bench after the third quarter ended, having his right ankle attended to with fresh taping. Remarkably, with around ten minutes left in the fourth quarter and the Knicks down by nine, Brunson made his way back onto the court, ready to continue the fight.
