Michael McDowell has clinched the pole position for the upcoming Pennzoil 400 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. His impressive lap time of 28.883 seconds edged out Joey Logano by just a hundredth of a second.

In a setback during practice, Ryan Blaney faced an unfortunate crash due to a cut tire, spinning out in turn 2 and damaging the rear of his vehicle. Despite this incident, the No. 12 Penske team is hopeful about fixing the car without resorting to a backup. Consequently, Blaney will start at the back of the pack on Sunday, as reported by the Amazon Prime practice broadcast.

Below is the detailed starting lineup for Sunday’s race in Las Vegas.
