Patriots Make Strategic Final Picks in the 2025 NFL Draft

The 2025 NFL Draft concluded with the Patriots making their final selection at the No. 257 spot.

With their last pick in the seventh round, New England chose defensive back Kobee Minor from Memphis. Before ending up at Memphis, Minor spent three seasons at Texas Tech, transferred to Indiana in 2023, and continued his college career in 2024. During his final year, he impressed with six passes defensed, 2.0 sacks, and two passes defensed.

Additionally, at No. 251, the Patriots picked long snapper Julian Ashby from Vanderbilt as the seventh round neared its end. Notably, Ashby became the first long snapper to be drafted since 2021.
