Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 14-year-old batting prodigy from Rajasthan Royals, carved his name into the history books by becoming the youngest player to ever score a century in men’s T20 cricket.

With a masterstroke, Suryavanshi launched a ball from Rashid Khan over the boundary for six, securing the record as the second-fastest century in IPL history and the fastest by any Indian player, accomplished in just 35 deliveries.

This left-handed teen sensation dazzled with seven fours and eleven massive sixes before being dismissed for an electrifying 101 runs off 38 balls. His explosive performance propelled the Royals to a convincing eight-wicket triumph over the Gujarat Titans.

In an incredible twist of fate, Suryavanshi, who celebrated his 14th birthday last month and was acquired for £103,789 (1.1 crore rupees) in the previous year’s auction, became the IPL’s youngest player earlier in April. Not one to shy away from pressure, he made an unforgettable debut by smashing his very first ball in the IPL for a six.

Continuing to display that same fearless flair in Jaipur, he dismantled the Gujarat bowling lineup, ensuring Rajasthan effortlessly chased down the winning target of 210.
