The Trump family has unveiled yet another venture, aiming to leverage the current president’s name for profit: Trump Mobile, a new wireless phone service.

Given the myriad of Trump-branded items such as crypto companies, bibles, social media platforms, colognes, and sneakers, the announcement of Trump Mobile suggests the family intends to capitalize extensively on the presidency. This launch was deliberately scheduled to mark “the 10-year anniversary of their father’s historic presidential campaign,” as stated in a Trump Organization press release.

Managed by President Trump’s eldest sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, the Trump Organization has witnessed a coincidental business boom during the second Trump presidency, challenging ethics and anti-corruption laws. Trump Mobile represents another licensing agreement, complete with a disclaimer that clarifies “Trump Mobile, its products and services are not crafted, developed, manufactured, distributed, or sold by The Trump Organization or any affiliated entities. T1 Mobile LLC uses the ‘Trump’ name under a limited license agreement subject to termination or revocation.”

The launch of Trump Mobile is replete with branding and special offers teeming with indirect references to President Trump, albeit without an explicit endorsement from the president himself.

Among the offerings will be a golden “T1” smartphone (slated for an August release) and “the 47 plan,” a cell service plan priced at $47.45 monthly—an allusion to Trump’s two presidential terms. The reversed term numbers, shifting from the actual 45 to 47 order, seemingly aims to garner an additional $1.98 monthly from patrons.

So assured are the Trumps of the president’s followers readily spending money, they didn’t invest in original imagery, opting instead for poorly edited stock photos on their website.
