Actor William Levy, renowned for roles in productions like Café con Aroma de Mujer and Sortilegio, is currently dealing with legal challenges after his arrest in Florida. According to Broward County’s arrest records, Levy was taken into custody this past Monday, April 14th. The charges leveled against him involve public misconduct and unauthorized presence on occupied property. The actor’s arrest photo has already circulated widely on social media platforms.
The official documents reveal that Levy faces charges of disorderly intoxication in a public setting, which is typically applied when someone, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, disrupts public order or poses a risk to themselves or others. Additionally, he is accused of trespassing on occupied property, indicating he entered or remained on premises without the consent of the owner or resident.
Javier Ceriani, a Miami-based entertainment journalist and television personality, reported that Levy might not be eligible for bail due to the substances reportedly found in his system.
This episode isn’t Levy’s first encounter with the law. Back in October 2023, an officer was called to Levy’s residence following a loud disagreement between him and his then-partner, Elizabeth Gutierrez. The incident followed a night of heavy drinking which led to Gutierrez expressing her disapproval of Levy’s drinking habits. Despite raised voices, no physical altercation was noted at the time.
In January 2024, Gutierrez reportedly sought safety from an aggressive Levy, who allegedly arrived at their home in a volatile state, even carrying a weapon. According to reports, Gutierrez informed authorities that Levy was intoxicated and displayed jealousy over alleged infidelities. Levy later refuted these claims, insisting he would never endanger his family’s well-being.
