It appears Kevin Bacon could be headed back to Perfection. Stampede Entertainment, the studio behind the 1990 cult favorite ‘Tremors,’ has revealed plans to create another sequel now that they have reclaimed the rights to the original ‘Tremors’ script. “We’re in talks about a sequel returning to Perfection,” the company announced, alluding to the tiny Nevada town that Valentine McKee (played by Bacon) and his friends defended in the original monster horror film. “Additionally, we have some wild ideas in mind featuring graboids in novel locales.”

Furthermore, Stampede clarified, “Whatever direction we choose to take with Hollywood, it won’t be a remake of the original movie with a different cast, nor will it be based on our initial script for ‘Tremors 5.’ We are exploring stories that could bring Kevin Bacon back as Val, although we can’t make any promises just yet!” The iconic film tells the story of a small Arizona town’s residents, who find themselves battling enigmatic underground beasts picking them off one by one. Alongside Bacon, Fred Ward, Finn Carter, and Reba McEntire starred in this beloved classic, which went on to become a cult icon.
