Having just secured victories in their League Cup 2025 openers, Inter Miami CF and Club Necaxa are set to face off this Saturday evening in a Phase One showdown.
During this phase, both MLS and LIGA MX teams are vying to collect points in their respective league tables. In these thrilling encounters, a tied game jumps straight into a penalty shootout to determine the winner.
Only the leading four teams from each league’s table will make it to the quarterfinals, which means just eight of the 36 teams—18 from MLS and 18 from LIGA MX—will advance to the knockout rounds.
The Leagues Cup final is scheduled for August 31, and the top three teams will earn their spots in the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup.
